Ruiz in the 2nd fight was much like Douglas against Holyfield, both didn't train and lived the good life and it showed.
I can't see Usyk winning this. Sooner or later AJ will catch him with his big right and it will be sweet dreams for Usyk.
it has never come down to size vs skill. if they are both competing in the right division, and they are both professionals, then they both have the skill, and the size to compete there. the rest is just about who is better. plenty of guys no bigger than usyk have reigned supreme over everyone. if usyk cant do it, then he aint that good.
and he wasnt the first, nor will he be the last. according to noobs, all of em pre 90s were that size...6 1/2 foot fighters apparently only appeared after the 90s.
There hasn't been one in years. Every reigning HW champion had good size on his contemporaries. A lot of 'em pre-90s boxers would get beaten up.
none of those sentences actually means anything. they have no connection to what im saying and to reality. yeah? what, 2 years? i cant recall the last king of hw's being the largest man in the division, so why dont you tell me who it was. probably, and a lot of them would tear through the current division like it was a girl scout troop.
Depends completely on the context of the fight. If Joshua catches anyone clean with a strong combo there's a pretty strong likelihood of them going down or at the very least being hurt. You could flip the question around and ask how Joshua would handle a clean combo late in the fight after being chipped away at for 7 or 8 rounds and is tiring. Usyk has a habit of growing into fights, particularly against opponents he fancies his chances against. The Bellew fight was a good example of this. He definitely can't do this vs Joshua or any of the big guys.
