Toney with better work ethic in the heavyweight division

    Any idea what years this might have occurred between? Hadn’t heard this before but find it interesting as I love both fighters. However, I assume this was the older shot version of Bowe considering the time period when Toney moved to heavyweight.

    I think he beats Byrd in a close fight. The Klitschkos are probably a step too far although he would do quite well against Vitali.

    James Toney was a pretty good high school football player and I bet he didn't play at 154.
    I think that he was just a thicker guy that happened to be 5'10" or whatever he was.

    That would have been a better decision, but I think that he made a deliberate choice to bulk up. I think that his steroid use indicates that.

    I think he played football around 220 lbs and got down as he kept up with boxing
