Haugen was a level above both of them.

Haugen a bit better, would win a competitive UD.

I think Greg won the third fight with Paz also. Vinnie was all show. Watch it again without Pacheco biased commentary.

People love to say that but it isn't simply true.
Ward had an extensive amateur career and was signed by Top Rank as a prospect and was featured on alot of pay per view under cards.
Ward believe it or not had faster hands when he was younger then Greg.
Greg stuck to the fundamentals better then Mickey did.
The problem with Mickey was when he lost it took alot of his confidence away and he questioned himself not to mention he had horrible hand problems throughout his career.
And Mickey had a HORRIBLE management team. He would lose and then they would throw him right back in with a top prospect.
If both met coming up as prospects Greg would have won.
But at thier absolute best Mickey wins. Mickey was far more dedicated then Greg who alot of times didn't train like he should have.
Greg did have the cute moves but so did Ward as he would switch to southpaw on the inside to get his power hand involved more and Greg had that little half step back that caused alot of fighters especially Jimmy Paul to fall short with punches.
    Wonderful match up.

He kept the pressure on and made the fight. All Paz did was run and play pitty-pat, IMO.

Yea I agree. That was after Pazienza started juicing as well. Pazienza did what I call alot of fake boxing. Alot of wasted motion, showboating, posturing, talking not much substance. Roberto Duran butchered Pazienza even dropped him still they gave it to Vinny. Duran won every round
