They are whining because DAZN/Hearn have not delivered on their promises. Most people in the UK already pay money for Sky, on top of paying for Matchroom PPVs.

Should they pay for DAZN on top of everything else?

£7.99 would be a good deal if the product they were selling was worth it.

Unfortunately the cards are horrible. Canelo has left DAZN. Matchroom are forcing Conor Benn a prospect down our throats because of his surname.

£3.99 would have been better for what they're offering. I think maybe they looked at netflix's price and decided to put it to something similar. Amazon prime is around the same price which offers free monthly same day/next day delivery, amazon music, amazon prime movies and tv, amazon drive,...etc...

There's simply not enough content and consistent updated content for it to be worth £7.99. If they had more events and two to four marquee names fighting in the year then it would be worth it.

It's a great deal in the U.S., when you consider the price of PPVs. I'm happy with it.

    Actually, $20 US is £14.50.

Charge them £14.50 a month for DAZN to watch a couple club fights in Eddie Hearn's backyard and see how popular that announcement is. (LOL).

I think £7.99 is fair. Two strong cards coming up at Leeds and Liverpool. Whyte fighting on DAZN end of October. They need to make sure they are putting on good cards each month but the price is fine.

The price of a PPV ur side of the pond is outrageous...maybe that makes their subscription look a 'steal'
Personally ive not seen anything on DAZN that makes me thibk £7.99 is worth it

I think the mistake DAZN made is they started at such a low price at £1.99 then increased it to £7.99 which is a bit too much of an increase for what they're actually offering. If it started at £3.99 and went to £6.99 he'd have less criticism and people wouldn't care so much even if it isn't really worth it.

Eddie Hearn's argument is Dillian Whyte is a PPV fighter but the boxer he's fighting next is a blow over. Ruiz Jr vs Arreola should never have been put on PPV but Eddie has seen that and now thinks he can put sub par fighters as main events on ppv for the foreseeable future.
