Its about time they put a stop to these ridiculous 'exhibition' bouts. Plenty of boxing clubs they can go to for some 'exhibition' sparring

Holyfield speaks the way he always has, with a strong ass Southern drawl. The fact he's still able to coherently talk about any range of topics is a testament to the hardiness of his neurons. By the way I did a study on the reasons some people end up punch drunk and some don't. It pretty much all comes down to one crucial gene and which alleles of that gene you happen to have. It's the same gene thought to be responsible for Alzheimer's in most cases. It's called the apolipoprotein epsilon gene (APOE for short). I reckon guys like Foreman and Holyfield were blessed with the right pairing of alleles whereas others like Bowe and Ali show the other side of that equation.

    This is a great exhibition.
With these exhibitions, you can't have them when one fighter is in there with something to prove. You either need two old timers that are already established legends. Or, you need a legend and a young guy who knows he has nothing to prove by beating up a retired legend. Joshua fits the latter. AJ won't go in there with intent to hurt the 50+ year old Iron Mike. AJ and Mike will play the game and put on a good pretend boxing show like Mike and Roy did.

Some people said they would like to see Mike and Povetkin. That's would be bad. Povetkin never quite established himself a s a great. He never made it to the top. He'a also recently retired, meaning he is much fresher than old man Mike. I wouldn't trust Povetkin to know that this is just a game and winning isn't the point. Before you know it a real fight can break out and we don't want that with a 50+ year olds.

These are great if they are raising money for charity, and everyone involved knows it's just a pretend exhibition fight. Mike and Roy put on a fun show and they were clearly not trying to hurt each other.

Foreman was examined by a neurologist around 1999 when he was in talks for a fight with Holmes that fell through. His brain had zero signs of any damage.

A true freak of nature, he must be blessed with the strongest neuroprotective factor in history.

I think it’s a combo of extremely thick bone structure (some people’s skeletal mass can be up to 2.5x heavier than average) and abnormally extra thick meningal layering between skull and brain. The guy was like a human version of a rhino.

He’s nearly 60 yrs old. Everybody’s processing speed declines some with age. He talks well for his age imo, a lot better than Tyson who seems to be in early stages of dementia based on his recent podcasts.

My mother doesn`t talk like that and she`s 72, his speech sounds impeded.
