Depressingly boxing actually needs someone to die at the hands of one of these for anything to change
Absolutely astonishing decision, but I’m not surprised in the slightest. Much like with Whyte v Rivas, commissions and boards looking the other way and allowing fights to go ahead when one party has failed a PED test is the absolute worst thing about the sport. Forget promotional and TV politics, shite judging etc. - fighters that draw money getting away with failing tests purely because they draw money is sickening. Will be fascinating to see how ESPN defend it over the next week or so as Valdez is one of their star names.
This content is protected Cannot see how a training comp isn't in competition. IF it was to help make weight, then it being in his system on fight night would be pointless 2. It is used to get other substances through your system lively. Total joke.
A and B dirty lmfao theses mexicants and the double special standards nothing to see here keep ya belt and carry on we bring clean
I think it's fair to say that anyone who has access to and the budget to pay for them is on PED's these days, and those who are not really should consider taking up a different profession. Boxing is not Cycling and those taking the Christophe Bassons approach are not ethical hero's, instead they're lambs being sent to the slaughter. Unlike other sports I cannot see a whistleblower blowing the lid on this because boxing is still the Wild West of sports and corrupt at every level.
What a hypocrite. I hope he returns and Eubank beats him and then retires. Lost all respect for him after he ridiculed Barry Mcguigan losing his daughter.
The news that you can now fail a drug test and continue to fight and earn money is the final straw for me. I loved the game but not no more it’s corrupt beyond repair and is something I don’t feel comfortable with feeding any longer, whether that be my time or my money. Serious changes needed to the sport and the abolishment of the governing bodies would be a great start. It’s been a pleasure gentleman good luck and god bless.
I am feeling much the same. That robbery at the weekend had me questioning why I follow this 'sport' and nonsense like this compounds the feeling. We should presumably be grateful they didn't mark the occasion of this **** poor statement with yet another comedy belt.
I don't doubt for a second some UK boxers juice. But it does make you wonder if the reason we have so few "world level" fighters is because so many are just allowed to juice to the eye balls
