On reservation ground, they can allow the fight to happen. The issue here is the sanctioning body. They need to strip him of tittle.
Exactly what is the point of the WBC having the VADA clean boxing program if they aren’t gonna strip a fighter that failed a test. If this fight is allowed to continue and he keeps that belt then all the clean boxing propaganda is null and void.
Guy needs to be stripped of the title and suspended. After the return he, cannot fight for a title for 2 years.
What a coincidence, the Mexican Valdez of Team Reynoso is treated better than the Russian Povetkin. As a reminder, Povetkin's B sample was negative.
Testing is simply a tool of negotiating a big fight. If boxer A feels that he has the best "chemistry setup" and can get past certain tests, he's going to opt for more rigorous testing to **** with his opponent. If boxer A and B are both well into big time boxing and have similar "chemistry setups" then testing will NEVER be brought up, because there is no advantage to ply over one another and both suffer if the whole thing blows up. These situations will have basically no testing. If the standard envelope doesn't reach a certain testing commission during a pass, or if the "chemistry setup" actually fails and an even BIGGER bag doesn't reach a testing commission, or in the odd event a testing commission cannot be bribed, only THEN will you see a positive result on an A-side fighter.
