This is a good match-up assuming Mikey can go down to 140. It'd be dangerous fight for Haney. Mikey's experience would be too much for Haney to handle.
Mikey should be able to make 140 no problem he's tiny compared to some of the fighters there.its just laziness if he can't be arsed.
There are very few people that I'd pick over Mikey that don't have an enormous size advantage. Haney ain't one of em either. Mikey UD12.
Haney couldn't even wobble a shot beyond belief 39 y/o inactive Gamboa and a way past prime near 36 y/o inactive Linares both of whom have been down more times than Jenna Jameson and have been stopped in all their other losses and that's despite him cracking the pair of them with everything bar the kitchen sink all night, being augmented with whatever Vic Conte is pumping into him and being way naturally bigger than both of them. A prime or even closer to prime active Linares wouldn't have let him off the hook after hurting him and he would've definitely finished him off, when Mikey touches that chin expect to see Haney take a long snooze and the hype train come to a grinding halt.
Mikey is one of the most disappointing fighters in boxing. He's taking a page out of Gary Russel Jr's playbook. He's obviously too small for 147 and he should be fighting at 140. With his inactivity, he's pretty much irrelevant these days.
Of all these young guys I reckon Haney is the superstar in waiting. He is far too quick for Mikey imo. Mikey is just too bloody inactive and need to get the figer out as mother time is creeping up on him too. Hayney 8-4 or 9-3
