    12*-0 Hughes

Hughes is exhausted as hell and is officially in "just need to survive mode" so of course he's still kicking Staffon's ass.

If Hughes can keep it going it will be a really great win for him. Especially considering the level of his performance.

Straffon won't ever be back not even for a payday. Britain is dangerous.

Yeah true. He's improved a great deal but his interviews are unbearable when he's in wannabe cockney gangster mode

11th round lovely feet by Hughes in this fight.
This is a textbook example of how to fight a puncher. Beautiful to watch

Perfect timing. Just banged a 5 mile run out within the duration of this fight. Just in time for Benn/Granados

i agree I think the fact Benn isn’t calling out Avenesyian speaks volumes. He won’t even face the best at British level.

His career is very carefully curated

    Round 9 Hughes 10-9
    Round 10 Hughes 10-9

The focus and composure from Maxi in this fight has been immaculate. Granted, the lack of any originality from Straffon helped immensely. Maxi's jab is lovely.

    120-107 Hughes

    Just like most hype jobs.

The one I respect the most is actually Amir Khan. He actually overcame alot and became world champion. He found his level but still was never afraid of a challenge (barring his pension retirement plan in Kell Brook)

.....also, the main reason behind my picking of Straffon to KO Tennyson. Y'all musta forgot!!! Tennyson has a glass jaw.:deal:

I mean, the man was beaten by stoppage by Tevin Farmer.

Great by Hughes - helped by Sean O'Hagan, he will want that for his son, later on, it will be closer for sure.

This must be a 120-108 to 118-110 type card at the minimum.

    Amazing performance by Hughes.
