Lara got hit with a good punch and he took it well. I would argue that Lara landed better punches in the first round. Warrington doesn't have any power to sustain his attack, that's why he spend most of 2nd round getting hit and covering up. Lara has Warrington's number whether people like to admit it or not.

I think you may have me mistaken, I'm saying that Warrington may have been intentionally butting Lara to get out of the fight without outright quitting. Also, good to see you on the forum again mate.

Theoretically yes it is possible. Navarrete has a fight lined up against Joet Gonzalez on October 16th and if he wins, a Navarrete vs Lara would be big - two Mexican brawlers going at it in a bona fide FOTY candidate.

I don't think Lara is tied with any major promoter so I doubt there will be any trouble in making that fight happen.

It was clear as day that Warrington was minutes away from getting knocked out again. Can't believe Hearn had the cheek to say he thought Lara was looking for a way out. :eyepop:

I come back to watch the warrington fight and what I find are the highlights showing katie taylor in slow motion closing her eyes while punching.

    Yes, female boxing... awesome. :vomiton22je:

And this ****ing promoter forcing me to stop watching the fight night because he sets female BS just before the main card once and again and again.... :laser-kill:

I've been trying to place who Katie Taylor reminds me of for the last hour, it just clicked.

Theon Greyjoy's lesbian sister Yara, on Game Of Thrones.:D

Although in real life, the actually straight version edges her.

Warrington knew exactly what he was doing with his head. Lara repeatedly complained he was getting butted. Warrington was bending over really low, and then suddenly jerking his head up deliberately when Lara was moving inside.

Lara has Warrington's number, and Joshy's career is slowly ending.

That's why Hearn came out with the nonsense about Lara looking for "a way out"; to try and distract from the fact Warrington looked out of ideas and was already cheating.

Hard to know for sure how the fight would of played out without the cut but it was pretty clear Lara's punches seemed to be so much heavier they even sounded different when landing.

Warrington made some adjustments from the first fight, with the higher, tighter guard but with still no head movement he's always liable to get caught when throwing or when Lara come around the guard. He also seemed to almost be desperate to clinch at times which is maybe why he was lunging in with his head so much trying to smother Lara instead of risking getting caught when moving out of range like in the first fight.

If I had to put money on it I think Lara would of gotten to him again. He was getting caught in round 2 even with the high guard and seemed to be getting drawn into Lara's type of fight in that round.

I'd put money on Warrington winning a rematch. You can't say someone has the other guys number after one fight and a few rounds in a closely contested rematch. He had his number when Josh had a flat performance. Let's see what happens next.

Yes, Santa Cruz still has the WBA Super title, but Leigh Wood wants that changed as Santa Cruz has been inactive at that weight for so long

Must say I am not very impressed by Benn. Hype job that will be exposed.
