I have no doubt Fury was glad the AJ fight got cancelled. He wasn't ready for AJ and needed a couple fights beforehand.
He is from Ukraine and therefore for you will not matter even if he had 1000-0-0 pro record at HW and had been 300 lbs giant. He already had lost his legacy when he had other things to do after Wlad I fight rather than boxing. A cruiser Cunningham had floored Fury and sorry, Fury is not nor unbeatable nor had proven that he is very disciplined ( while he really is highly skilled and very talented fighter ). More than this: all these insults regards to weight classes are a bit ridiculous. Puny welterweights might generate more income for promoter than types like Fury. Seriously. He already had proved how " disciplined " he is and sorry, this is what this is here.
Your persecution complex is very extreme. You must have missed the Klitschko era. Fury taking 2.5 years off to become morbidly obese and snort coke just makes his legacy look all the more impressive. He gave Wilder and AJ time to put together win streaks and collect belts, now he's come back to demolish them. Unfortunately AJ got turned over by a 25-1 pudding, so Fury's win over AJ will be tainted by that. If he'd beaten Wilder on Wilder's first couple of defences and smashed AJ off a win over Eric Molina, few would have given Fury much credit. Fury's lack of discipline is actually a compliment to his ability: if he can achieve what he has without being disciplined then his natural talent has to be all the greater to succeed as he has. Usyk was KO'd in 1 round by a Belarusian and dropped by Beterbiev in the amateurs. If you think that Usyk takes a better punch than a fit and focused 270 lbs Fury who has beaten Wlad and Wilder x2 over 30 rounds then you are delusional. I don't care about income for promoters. Usyk is a cruiser who doesn't generate much income anyway, so I don't know what your argument is. Cruisers are at a disadvantage vs heavies which is why there are weight categories. Cunningham proves this rule: KO'd prime Huck in Germany, had several other top wins at cruiser and was never KO'd but a wild and unfocused young Fury was able to get off the canvas after a wild haymaker had caught him flush and maul Cunningham, breaking his will and stopping him in 7. Fury-Usyk today would be Fury-Cunningham part 2, without the KD. But I doubt it will get to this because AJ will probably win, by hook or by crook, if not the first time then the second time.
Will AJ have the balls to mention Fury's name this time IF he beats Usyk? He was a wreck after he beat Pulev. Didn't want to know.
Will Fury have the balls to even show up to the trilogy fight? Or will he give another exuse and have to be taken back to court to be forced to fight?
let me guess, Wilder wins then "damn Wilder ruined all my plans, I told you what I was gong to do but he ruined it, now we've got to rematch him, negotiations are takng longer than expected, I'm a fighting man all I do is fight" blah blah blah
AJ is just a bit robotic and fake, I can get why people might not like him, but there's not that much to really dislike him for. Fury on the other hand is just going too far with playing the fans and holding up the division.
