Dazn increased the price to £8 a month just so they could afford to get Anthony back home safe to his wife and kids
It's his wife and kids I feel sorry for, sat up and wracked with worry until he gets home safely after being held against his will by Matchroom.
He will insist to anyone who will listen that he doesn't love it, and is only making all the appearances and doing all the interviews because Matchroom are forcing him to do them.
If Bellew doesn't comply with the demands of Matchroom and DAZN and doesn't eulogise Anthony Joshua as the greatest Heavyweight of all time, Matchroom won't release him and let him get home safely to the wife and kids. It's that simple.
To be fair to him I heard an interview the other day where he made light of the getting home safe thing, can’t remember who it was with…a bit like Carl Froch started to with the 60,000 at Wembley.
Anthony Bellew has a new BBC podcast coming out called “Tony Bellew is Angry”. This is genuinely beyond parody. Bellew should be nowhere near a podcast with his insane hyperbole and constant hypocrisy in practically every subject. Best hope for us all now is him saying something totally politically incorrect on this podcast leading to him being “cancelled” and finally left alone for good.
Why is public money paying for this dross, how is this a good use of public money, who wants to listen to Bellew, let alone for a prolonged period in a podcast
New radio show on the BBC - "Tony Bellew is Angry" it's called. He's absolutely everywhere. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09v5xgt
"Tony Bellew packs a punch in his new podcast by chatting all things anger..." Gather the family round the fire, listen to Bellew ranting and raving for an hour. Then flip flopping on anything he's just said come the next episode.
This is so overlooked. I reckon with the amount of brown-nosing Tony would do for Eddie/a punditry gig, he'd have still been around in some capacity. Sky love all that.
I used to dislike Bellew until he fought and KTFO Haye. It is so satisying to see Haye being put in his proper place: Bellew's highlight reel.
