Unless Holyfield is faking it and looking painfully mollases slow on the pads, there is not way he should be allowed to fight in a sanctioned professional fight.

You would think that if any boxing commision was considering santioning a fight of Holyfield's, they would attend one of his workouts and gauge what he has to offer in a ring. If thats all the speed he has, does'nt matter if Holyfield wins or loses, shame on the commision for licensing him and sanctioning the fight.

At 58, I have a hard time picking Evander. I just don't even know what to expect from a shot to bits 58 year old in a combat sport. He's almost as old as Luis Ortiz. That's the only reason I don't pick Evander Holyfield by absolute murder.

He looks bad on those pads but I don't know how hard he's trying. Is he showing this as something impressive? I hope not.

Is that real training? Evander seems like he's in slow motion.

His hands during the press conference move faster than they did on the pads. I hope to god he's not that slow with gloves on. I have a feeling he will look better than that training video, but this is still a terrible idea.

Worst thing that can happen is if Evander gets knocked out and dies..

this is a bad spectacle. I wouldn’t want to be associated with it.

but can’t help it because it’s boxing..

Or maybe he was just taking it easy on the pads at that point in time.

Just from that awful padwork alone.. I wouldn't be surprised if the WBA rank him in the top 3

That may be the case seeing that Holyfield looks pretty confident in the press conference.

I believe that even as slow as Holyfield looks in that Pad video, he has so much "know how" that he's very capable of just luring Belfort into shots and avoiding shots himself with subtle movements. Not that this will happen, but something to remember here is that Belfort is not a boxer and he's not accustomed to fighting rounds with boxing gloves on.
Belfort may be a hard puncher in mma, but with boxing gloves on that may not translate.

The fear for me is that even in looking slow Holyfield easily handles Belfort and then wants to take a fight with someone fully capable as a boxer.

Oh God, not Tito Ortiz! I wasn't even aware that him and Anderson Silva were on this card. Haye as well!
I've clearly paid zero attention to this fight night...

Evander should not be fighting , in this interview he could not remember Wilder's name despite it being mentioned to him a few seconds earlier. :(

Start at 5 mins 53 seconds.

People who think he hold back in the pad session should watch his training clips on social media.

Holyfield is done. Some low level guys would beat the crap out of him. Belfor ain't a boxer but he has good combos, can put his punches together and more important he still has the speed, explosiveness and power to hurt people. Additionally he looks juiced to the gills.

The only reason why Holyfield should be near the ring on Saturday is watching the fight as a spectator.

Belfort will destroy him. I just hope the ref jumps in as soon as Evander is taking some damage. I think we're dealing with a life threatening situation here if Belfort is allowed to unload for a couple of rounds on CTEvander.
