The epitome of a Hall of Fame fighter was the guy I met who fought Antonio Margarito in Ft Worth Tx back in 1999 his name was Buck Smith his record was something like 110-12. Had a long chat with him he never turned down a fight , just said " Give me time to get there" He even fought twice same night once when fighter didnt show up
Check out his record on BoxRec
Of & of course The Tijuana Tornado is a shoo in for my HOF!!!!!!!

This post highlights one of my disputes about the IBHOF and the voting. How is it that Julian Jackson got in, yet Nunn and Kalambay, both of whom were greater than Jackson, have missed out?

I'm pretty sure I have seen posts from you shitting on fighters that were afraid to fight away from home, such as Ward. So why does Ottke get a pass?

I see Davey Moore just got in as an "old timer." I'm getting old.

@mr. magoo Would you consider both Ward and Gatti to have been past their primes when they first met in the ring in May 2002? I only think Ward was.

You’re probably correct. Think Ward was around 35 or so. Lot of wear and tear behind him too. Both showed up in great form though
