Is he though? I see he’s already trying to price himself out. He doesn’t want this fight, he couldn’t live with a loss to Eubank. He will talk it up, price himself out and ride off in to the sunset.

If the fight happens, Saunders beats him again.

A boxer of real skill and talent.
    Tosser of a bloke.
Hasn't achieved half or what he should in the ring but I don't think he cares and he can still say he was in big fights, earnt a lot of money and was a British, commonwealth, euro and world champion. Not bad is it for an underachiever?

The Eubank rematch tells us where his head is at. Generate some money and get out of dodge. Frustrating for boxing fans because GGG VS BJS could have been a fantastic clash of styles. Plant V BJS would have been interesting and then there's the likes of Jacobs and Smith as well but it sounds like bar one fight Billy is done and fighting one more fight for money is dangerous. Eubank knows he can get to BJS who has started to show signs of slowing down. If Christopher can bring the pressure earlier then it might be a rematch to far.

I’m starting to wonder if he was a bit overrated. He’s had a successful career as a two weight world champion but it had been a bit of smoke and mirrors. Talented fighter no doubt but at the end of the day he had a disputed win over someone as limited as Eubank jr, a close fight with an Andy Lee at the tail end of his career and white washed a slogger in Lemieux. Is that because of a lack of commitment or would he have just lost to fighters like Jacobs and Andrade? Clearly nowhere near Canelo’s level and GGG would have smashed him too ultimately.

Light punching runner. Decent enough boxer but well overrated. The way some go on about him you'd think he'd be a gypsy Mayweather if he'd just applied himself. I don't think his career is a case of what might have been, I think he's maxed out his talent. Millionaire, can call himself an ex world champion (although who can't these days?), couple of decent wins and gave a decent account of himself against a living legend.

He’s never looked that good to me. Side-on southpaw fencer snide who fights leisure centre standard opp once a year and struggles.

Just retire and enjoy your money…….boxing isn’t for you now.

    That’s what I’d tell him.

Although Junior is saying he is the A side...

Which if we are basing on credentials, clearly isn't true

Might just be the other way round you know

He probably easy to be honest, unless BJS fights a name, he is either fighting in a sports centre or on the undercard of a Youtuber

I remember that, with Galahad in a vest and that anti-bullying hyena Phelps cackling away off camera. Was not the most comfortable viewing. I still think even now Saunders beats Eubank, no evidence to suggest he's shot, and he's definately improved more than CEJ since their first fight. Just needs to put the blooming work in.

He was hardly an actual ‘world champion’ was he. Cardboard champion who never fought. He was domestic/European in a weak era.

Him going through the motions against Isufi was a real eye-opener.
