Why would Hrgovic even train for a fight like that? Absolutely these duff opponents will be harming his long term potential.

I didn't watch the fight either as obviously it was just going to be a walk over, but did Hrgovic really look that bad and if so what specifically did he struggle with?

What part about Hrgovic being ducked and avoided like he has the plague is too difficult to grasp? Even Hunter who calls out everyone walked away from a final eliminator against him despite the fact it was a final eliminator for a crack at AJ's IBF strap and that he would've earned $363999.60 and Hrgovic $242,666.40. The winner, again, would've earned themselves a shot at the IBF strap, another big payday, and the opportunity to catapult themselves to stardom and their earning potential through the roof.

They went up and down the IBF rankings twice and no one wanted to know. But somehow that's Hrgovic's fault

He's been calling out much bigger names for what must be almost a couple of years now, I guess he should just remain inactive while he's being ducked, avoided and swerved?

As for tonight fight he hadn't fought in 10 months, has been in camp for over a year for fights that never materialized through no fault of his own, came in heavy at 247lbs and was boxing a guy who whilst obviously had a padded record did appear to have power in that overhand southpaw left he was slinging over the top, and Hrgovic boxed smart and broke him down and stopped him and the vast majority of refs would've waved that off much sooner. People acting like he went life and death against a fighter he completely dominated and stopped

If Hrgovic is so bad what does that say about Dubois who he bashed up and stopped in the gym, The Tuscaloser who he was more than holding his own against in sparring when he was a 19 y/0 amateur and The Tuscaloser was like 28-0 and 28 y/o. I see plenty of Hrgovic haters/detractors hyping the **** out of fighters Hrgovic battered in the gym . He has a reputation for a reason and word gets around.

He was a little risk averse, didn't want to take any damage in case the punching power was real.

The guy just kept getting up, I would have loved to see more intensity but it's long been clear he needs a better opponent to bring that out.

I've seen plenty of people questioning or criticizing Hrgovic's punch resistance too. Weird because there is literally not the merest hint he can't take a shot, quite the contrary in fact. Unless that is your criteria for judging punch resistance is someone never having being down, dropped or stopped either in the amateurs/WSB, pros or in the gym sparring among others savage punching HWs like Wlad, The Tuscaloser, Haye, and Dubois? I've never seen him hurt whereas the vast majority of HWs/SHWs, and I mean the current top dog pros and champs too, have been hurt, dropped, stopped or KO'd in the ams, some numerous times.

Hrgovic will probably fight Bakole and the negotiations have allegedly already started...

Joyce hurt him in their WSB match pretty bad and he was slightly stunned by a counter right from Tom Little in the fourth round, right before Filip KO'd him.

    Round 1 Radonjić 10-9

Largely a feel out round for Filip, trying to find the proper range on teh southpaw. Which marko took full advantage of, landing several jabs and looping lefts. Filip knocked him off balance late, but that was the only real success he had that round.

    Round 1 Radonjić 10-9
    Round 2 Hrgović 10-5:lol:

Filip now pouring on the pressure, Marko looks gassed already. He's wobbling all over the place, his balance is terrible. Filip pushes him down, then Marko starts wailing away, Filip drops him with a glancing right, he barely makes it back up, and when he does, he's wobbly. Finally he seems to have his legs underneath him, then Filip lands a one two, down goes Marko again. He's back up. Filip lands another glancing blow, down again, not even sure it landed. Clubbing right to teh forearm of Marko, he goes down again. how pathetic.

I don't recall that. I'll watch it again though.

Certainly don't recall Little hurting him.

Hrgovic clearly has a very good chin and when you measure it against the rest of his contemporaries at the weight and HW which for some strange reason many don't want to, as said, most of them have either been dropped or stopped and if not clearly hurt even in the amateurs. Even the iron-jawed Joyce was dropped multiple times and stopped twice and most of the greats and former top dogs of previous generations like Lewis, Wlad, Bowe, Savon, Tua, Stevenson, and so many more were stopped in the ams.

    Round 1 Radonjić 10-9
    Round 2 Hrgović 10-5
    Round 3 Hrgović 10-8

Filip goes for the kill, landin partially blocked rights, Mark9o goes down, it's a slip. Marko swinging for the fences. Now Marko is showboating, putting his chin out. Marko swinging a wild overhand that misses by a mile. Filip teeing off. Landing one twos. Marko shelling up. Then one gets through, it was a body shot and an uppercut. Down goes Marko, he's back up again. Filip hurts him again. Marko standing his ground, Filip unloading. Marko holds. Flailing from Marko to the bell.
