Tonight I’ve watched Dalton Smith and Hrgovic in absolute mismatches on a streaming service funded by a billionaire followed by an absolute war on a free to air channel by a promoter pretty much on his knees. It really isn’t hard to put on competitive fights.

Eggington's never in a bad fight and that one was good even by his standards but one of the days he's going to unravel badly.

Let's just appreciate Eggington for what he is. Brought us some great fights and deserves a lot of respect. Tough tough warrior of a man.

Mick put on Alex Dilmaghani v Samir Ziani last year and it is the best 12 rounds of boxing I have watched.

This fight tonight was excellent and it is a long time since we seen anything like this on Sky or BT whether PPV or not.

Made the correct decision to cancel DAZN - it is all about spinning mismatches.

If Mick was on one of the big channels he'd have to protect his investments with mismatches to attract the casuals. On C5 he can put on great fights like this because they're happy with smaller audiences.

Mine will be going end of the month. Thought I was doing it out of principle but thinking about it I’m doing it because the cards are terrible and I won’t feel like I’m missing out on anything one bit. Give me a Friday night on Channel 5 any day of the week.

That fight was incredible, no way around it. Both warriors.

I actually don't think I will miss it unless all Matchroom fighters are on DAZN without any Box Office in sight.

Not true, based on his precious. Look at some of the fights he put H Fury, Froch, T Fury in.

I’ve said it before but Eggington is great. Deserves a lot more respect from the British public, he’s never in a dull fight. The only problem is the long term damage it’s doing to himself. I really hope he can manoeuvre a big payday and get out the game before something serious happens to him. Warrior.

Five probably has bigger audiences than most dedicated sports platforms.

It was some scrap, but you do fear for Egginton's health with the amount of punches he takes. He's a warrior who's always entertaining to watch, but at what cost?
