Evander is one of my ALL TIME favs. He was a tough champion. With that being said, watching his workout recently, I don’t feel to good about this matchup vs Vitor. I believe Belfort beats Evander up. Hurts to admit but he’s 58 and Vitor is much younger and I’d say stronger too. Wish Holy would just step away for good

    Holyfield all day long.
He is old but he is a gym rat and was probably already training for something.
He has forgotten more about boxing than Belfort will ever know.

Holyfield could beat Vitor in his sleep. His brain might look like swiss cheese at this point but he can beat him on muscle memory alone. If they're both throwing combinations on the inside, I'm taking Holyfield all day in that exchange I don't care if he is 58.

He was beaten by Toney with body shot, and he was in better shape than now back then. This fight though will full of clinch and made it to last round just like Jones vs Tyson. Pre planned stuff.

I'd fear for Holyfield if he was fighting another professional boxer but he isn't. He's fighting an MMA guy, who is really a rank novice when it comes to boxing. And that guy is middle-aged, not a 20s or 30s something. I mean honestly, where would Belfort rank on BoxRec? It would be far below a journeymen HW.

Holyfield should still win this but my fear is his stamina is completely drained after the 2nd or 3rd round. He looks to be in good shape but kind of like Shane Mosley at the end of his career, the guy looked like a specimen but had stamina for about 3 or 4 rounds. After that it was like all survival mode. Steve Kim said something to the effect of it's like having a car with a clean paint job and brand new wheels but the odometer had 250K miles on it. That is what I fear for Holyfield, if he doesn't stop Belfort in the early rounds he's just going to try and survive since he is an old man.

But maybe it is wishful thinking or fandom on my part, but I'm going to predict Holyfield knocks him out early.

Vitor wins this pro wrestling match, guaranteed it’s a work.

The Holyfield vs Belfort & Haye vs Fournier fights have been removed from the Boxrec schedule

Seems like there's uncertainty on these fights' status. Silva vs Ortiz is still on or also removed?

That one is sanctioned, Holyfield's was going to be licensed by the Florida commission but his kids got him to change it to an exhibition. (is my understanding)

Yeah, he looked in great shape at the weigh-in, all things considered.

Per ESPN, it looks like it'll be up in the air until it gets closer to the fight itself whether this is official or an exhibition. Somebody can make the call before the fight and inform the FSAC that it won't be an official professional bout if that's what Holyfield decides.

I hope you guys dont put money on evander. He is getting koed if this is a real fight. I saw evander hit the pads recently. His hands are very slow and he looks very sluggish. Vitor is going to run through him. TrT vitor is high level ufc caliber, he could beat a lot of top rank ufc fighters even now under Trt. 58 year old Evander has no chance. Id give 48 old evander a chance but 58?

Watching that weigh in you have to assume "Billionaire Fournier " counts his cash in Iranian Rials. Net worth of a regular happy meal

Thought that Holy would do it, then I watched the footage of him working the pads... Either he's tired and just warming down or he's Chuck Lidell shot.
