There will be executives making calls, I bet. There's still money to be made, unfortunately, just on their history and names alone. But no question Mike would win now. Holyfield doesn't look like he can take a shot anymore without his legs going, and his speed looks like a 60-year-old's. Tyson at least can stay balanced and looks reasonably quick still judging by the Jones exhibition and pad-work.
Only fifteen people of 74 respondents thought Belfort would stop Holyfield? Also, why have you guys ^^^ been posting in the poll thread and not the RBR?
Belfort coming out fast was expected, and Holyfield being slower at his age and covering up under an early speed assault was expected. The ref panicked, its that simple. Belfort did'nt really land any significant punishing shot in the round and yet the ref stopped it because Holyfield opted to cover up which was actually the right thing to do. Under those circumstances an old man covers up, rides the storm, and then gets acclamated to the speed thats before him. With the experience that Holyfield has, he was very capable to have done that. Its very possible that Belfort would have shot his load and the speed gap would have closed enough to where Holyfield may have been able to outbox Belfort easily. Look at the replay folks, Holyfield went down from being off balance not from any shot that hurt him.
Holyfield should have not been able to fight because either way him fighting is criminal 1. either he throws the fight and makes easy money which is criminal 2. Or he fights hard and gets koed which is criminal since the dude already has brain damage Either way some people should not be allowed to fight.
Yes, I hope you didn't miss it. Legends 2: Andrés Vences vs. Jonathan Beresford & Jacob Christopher Ortíz vs. Anderson da Silva RBR
I hate myself for not betting on Vitor when he was -120 Seriously so much disrespect for mma fighters by the boxing purist on this thread. Lol mma guys can box too.
