Boxing is just **** now. I was slowly losing my passion from when Gamboa couldn't get the fights that would have made him mainstream, the latest Robson robbery from blatantly corrupt commissions and now Holyfield allowed to get in the ring with obvious drain bamage.

That said I'll suddenly end my retirement when AJ-Usyk, Inoue-Casimero and Fury-Wilder comes on and then pull a SRL and retire again.

This is what happens when you don't have a unified authority in a major sport. These circus fights will always be licensed by some unscrupulous body looking for its share of freak show loot. These travesties are just the beginning.

It's a circus, really, the paul brothers, old farts coming out of retirement, the best figters refusing to fight each other, 30000 different belt, champions making title defense against unranked fighters that, before the title shot, were ranked outside the top 10000000000 by boxrec in order to have an undefeated record.
By the way, Holyfield was aparently TKO'ed in the first round.

Pro wrestling looks more legitimate than pro boxing right now.

I've lost a huge amount of interest in the past 18 months. As a heavyweight fan there hasn't been a top level competitive fight, there was Povetkin vs Whyte 1 but that was an upset out of the blue. The top few fighters are more interested in finding excuses not to fight than getting it on.

Then we have the sideshows. People like the Paul bros, Tyson and Holyfield that somehow manage to convince supercasuals (I'm a standard casual lol) that they're the most relevant boxers in the world. Who can blame them though when the elite talents avoid each other like the covid.

People are paying to watch. That's the problem. These old timers are getting an itch scratched and make some extra money. These type of fights will be very difficult to stop. Unfortunately, a tragedy will have to occur in order for these type of fights to be frowned upon by the majority.

Been a process of Corruption and Dodgy Judges for some time now....Now we are getting these Stupid Fights with You Tube Fighters milking this once great Sport....And an average Heavyweight division that although in my opinion is poor it could be competitive If they ever decided to fight each other.....Been privileged to see the Golden era of Boxing I feel for the youngsters who watch our Sport and think this type stuff happening in Boxing is acceptable.!!!!!

I 100% agree. I'm done with boxing for a while. I'll watch a couple of high profile fights like AJ-Usyk or Wilder-Fury 3 but that's it. No mas. I can't stand all the BS decisions and other corrupt **** anymore.
