No way, he was awful v Wlad and never beat a good heavyweight, he was also knocked out at cruiserweight, AJ would have destroyed him.
For me i think usyk will box his way for 7-8rnds,comfortably outsmarting and boxing aj,and i wouldlnt be suprised if he won the bout Usyk is great and i rate him highly But my gut tells me he boxes joshuas ears off before getting stopped by an accumulation of punches by joshua
styles make fights. aj is about as easy/hard fight as vs chisora. but i see aj getting the nod in a dull jabby affair
A lot of ppl including I are thinking that Whyte actually had lost 1 st fight vs Chisora. Ofc Whyte looks more promising for business than older Chisora with too many L under belt. Fight had been scored for Whyte on close cards. Chisora vs Whyte II was : Chisora was ahead on 2 from 3 judges cards after 10 rounds, then Whyte sparked Chisora. Whyte actually had struggled vs Chisora damn a lot till end of both their fights. All rounds. Chisora vs Parker shocked me: I supposed that younger than Usyk and still enough experienced, 241? lbs Parker will perform vs Chisora better than Usyk did.
My gut tells me that Usyk will not engage during the fight and will be happy boxing to a losing decision, taking his money while keeping his health. Should be a real stinker.... I hope I'm wrong.
I think the smart money is on Joshua stopping Uysk. Honestly though I would also not be surprised if Uysk puts in a dominant performance, and we read about a shock victory after also. After Fury(who I think would win), I think Uysk had the best chance in the division against Joshua. It’s really hard to judge how Uysk will do against Joshua, because of his lack of fights at heavyweight, and also lack of fights at pro against anyone Joshua’s height and dimensions.
To answer the OP question: No. This thread is very short-sighted and are acting like this is Joshua pre-Whyte or Klitschko. Joshua knows he doesn't have a good chin and fights accordingly. If you think I'm wrong, go back and watch him run for 12 rounds against fat-ass Ruiz. He barely let his hands go, he was just lucky Ruiz came in overweight and couldn't move around the ring. AJ fighting a guy with excellent defense and legs. AJ isn't going to hunt Usyk down, it's going to probably look like his fight with Parker. It's going to come down to whether or not Usyk can hurt him, otherwise I think we are actually in for a very bad, ugly fight. One which goes the full 12 with it being close and AJ getting the nod by wider scorecards than they should be.
Bellew expended a tonne of energy to dominate the early rounds. AJ will be smarter. AJ doesn't gas out unless he's gone for the KO. I think AJ will go for the KO late on. Usyk will probably bank on AJ gassing out and go for a late KO or win the later rounds. AJ will be prepared for that.
If so A.J might use game plan: since 1 st bell rush on Usyk and go with 101%. Ofc also clinch, grab, press, pull, rotate and maul him with best speed and power he is able to do. Ofc also to throw a lot of power punches in row when closing distance. If he will rush on Usyk like hurricane and use also standup grappling since first bell. Will see might Usyk survive this or no. The bodybuilder is very strong, with better reach and Usyk does not likes clinch fight.
