anyone think cotto/margo will turn out like margo/cintron?

No, I think Cotto has more than proved that he's all fighter and won't panic or self-destruct when he's in trouble.

 

It may be like the second fight. But Cotto will not quit like Cintron did in the first fight. He'll go out on his shield. Might be the left hook to the body, might be the uppercut, might be an overhand right.

no! when cintron was in trouble he cried to the ref about marg hitting behind the head! cintron just doesnt have balls! Besides cotto obviously is the better boxer! This fight will turn out to be more like cotto torres except cotto has more skill than in 2005!

 

I figured at minimum you were talking about a Cotto beatdown on Margo; but the other way around? HELL NO. Cotto is as mentally strong as they come with backup plans if things don't go right. Cintron is as mentally weak as they come with NO backup plans.

 

I always thought this is how the fight would play out. Cotto does has have more heart but he is also a bit shorter and doesn't hit as hard as Cintron. I think people overlook that fact that Cintron threw some wicked pinpoint shots and Tony just walked through them. I do see Cotto getting koed cleanly though and looking to quit like kermit.

NO. Cotto is a smarter and better boxer than Cintron. In this sport anything is possible, but I don't think Cotto would make the mistakes Kermit made.

I think Cotto is an overall better fighter but I feel Killer could take a punch better than Cotto cuz hes naturally bigger. I dnt think Cotto could take that kind of punishment.

 

No way.. If anything, the fight will end like Cotto/Gomez.. A little bit more believable than it turning out like Margo/Cintron.. Not saying this fight is gonna' be lopsided, but Cotto will win in impressive fashion..

 

We'll see... I honestly could see both winning in impresive fashion.

 

i'm going to have to rewatch the fight b/c i dont recall kermit landing anything flush on margarito like he has done past opponents. i thought marg did an excellent job in smothering kermits punches to keep him from landing any devastating punches.

 

He landed flush many a times.
