There is something like a 0.1% chance this fight happens. Based on that the odds dont look good...and nor should they!! Haye is nothing but a con man seeking money for nowt

Not gonna lie, I actually thought of you calling it when I saw that Haye called out Fury.

But, I still cant see it happening. I just dont see how they would sell that fight at all. Then again, I think maybe I need to start accepting that credibility doesnt equal marketability. I have to accept that even if everyone on the planet knows its a bogus fight, that has no business taking place, people will tune in, it will make headlines, and it will make money.

So idk... I still dont think it happens, but we'll see I guess.

I have actually heard Fury say flat out that he doesn't care about legacy at all.

If you remember, I was also called the Kabayel fight that they were within a hair or making. Although I am now not sure that Fury every really intended to have the fight, he was the final name dropped, and I had predicted it six months before.

I honestly think I have Fury figured out, and we will see if I am right, here.

Do you think this call out was pre-planned or y'know.. encouraged by Fury's team? It's weird because surely Haye could earn easy money doing more exhibitions against the likes of Shannon Briggs or some YouTubers. I feel like Haye has chosen the worst possible stylistic matchup for him to suddenly call out, so it seems like he genuinely believes he can win and get back to the top.

I'd like Haye to at least have a pro fight first.... Even against someone like Charr, to show he can still throw his right hand.

If memory serves they still had him in number 1:duh or at least the top three.

But they have a rule where they can make an exception for their former World Champions, so they wouldn't of needed to rank him.

Fair point, but I think it's fair to say it would be the WBC not allowing it to be a title defense.

And with the belt not on the line, it's hardly going to do wonders for the image of the fight. And be another knock on Fury.

Plus I seem to recall many years back that Fury said he would never fight Haye after the two previous fights fell through. Wilder actually needed a court decision to get the third fight, and we still haven't had it yet.

So, Haye v Fury is pie in the sky from Haye chasing what he loves most:
a pay day whilst conning the public

I believe it has been in the works since Haye openly said that he would come back for the winner of Joshua-Fury, but have no evidence whatsoever. I think that they know that because of Covid, that will be a long time in coming, so the two camps want to speed it up.

My point is that Fury will take the big, dangerous fights, but pads them out with low risk affairs. He would rather lure guys like Haye and Klitschko out of retirement for big money and an easy night than fight young guys like Whyte, whom has has said he can't make money off of.

Haye can make change of exhibitions later. He wants that big paycheck.

    Just my opinion.

On Monday he was about legacy and history, by Tuesday he was a prizefighter and getting paid was the most important thing.

Fury is either bi-polar or he says a headline grabbing soundbite for maximum publicity.

I personally think he has peaked and Joshua will KO him.
