Clenelo out feinting Floyd, making Floyd miss, the 12 punch combo he landed on Floyd, showing Floyd how to fight off the ropes and teaching Floyd how to fight, yes it wasnt Sr or Uncle Rog who taught Floyd how to fight it was Canelo. @shadow111 can back all ive said and im sure he will.
Canelo trying but Floyd putting on a masterclass and showing how good he was..great performance. Oh n I remember being really ****ed off mathysse didn't smash Garcia
@shadow111 Floyd took Canelo to school and gave him a degree in boxing(LOL) Now look how successful Canelo is, all thanks to Mayweathers teachings
I remember his dry dry lips He looked like a prune thats been left out in the Mojave desert for 12 months Take away roidnelos physical advantages = no fight
Floyd stuttered his jab all night and landed it beautifully. Canelo was game but looked levels below an older Floyd. Didn't help Canelo and Oscar's credibility that they obviously bought one judge. 114-114 Was hilarious. Classic C.J. Ross.
Floyd dipping below the waist constantly because his crap shoulder roll wwsn`t working, Canelo would destroy him now.
I remember thinking how clueless Canelo looked. It was like no one told him Floyd was allowed to move out of the way. He wasn't just getting outclassed, he didn't even know what to do. He's come a long way since that loss, and really improved his technical skills.
Anybody got the full fight? Ive been looking for this thing for years, it was on Mayweathers promo channel for a brief moment before getting privated and lost into the abyss.
I held a big fight party at my mom’s house because My mother was in the Philippines. Had my neighbors and my boys. I spent hella money on food and beer. Sadly, I don’t remember much except Floyd winning..
At the time it was the definition of "high risk/high reward" for both fighters. While not very competitive, I will say that Canelo was alive and trying in there. He was just shut down at every turn and had no gas to "go for broke" which was the only thing he didn't try. Canelo was too passive. Likewise, in classic Floyd fashion, a little bit more risk would have yielded a lot more highlight reel offense. With retrospect, it was one era's P4P King in old age beating the next era's P4P King in youth. Don't think that has happened too often in boxings history, if ever.
