What is the most brutal/hardest punch you've ever seen in classical boxing ?

Well all of them landed something hard on him, not as much as joe frazier, but still all of them caught him with some great shots apart from Cleveland williams.
Oh, and James quick Tillis Who was pummeled by both Morrison and Frank Bruno, also said that Shavers hit him the hardest.
Larry Holmes said the same thing despite being knocked out by a prime mike tyson.

Reason why people forgot about it is because Pulev wasn’t on the ground convulsing, but that has to be the hardest punch ever thrown in boxing history.

 

I don't give a rats arse what they said, Shavers is not among the top 5 hardest punchers.

 

Shavers put all he had in that right hand against Holmes. It was an overhand right with all his body weight behind it.
Tyson hit Holmes with a 1-2 combo, the punch that sent Holmes down, although being pretty hard, did not have all that Tyson could muster behind it, it was a shorter crisper punch.
In the first Patterson fight, Liston caught him with a good left, but again, he did not get to put all his weight behind it.
In the second, he hit him with 2 decent right hooks, then a left hook, but again, not with all he had.

Tyson and Liston did not get to land with all their power like Shavers did.

Ah stop exaggerating to have us in Stitches; you are telling a yarn. As if that could be needed to tie his head to his body smh.
No some astute investigating reveals what happened to Holmes when that County Fair overhand right cold-cocked him.

Holmes dropped not only unconscious, but upon impact immediately died.
However, the punch was SO forceful that it essentially re-set his internal chronometer; he was essentially sent back in time.
Like as if a 900 lbs. man stepped on a scale set for a 300 maximum-as if the numbers kept spinning around until it arrived at zero again.

Thus he was essentially awakened, revivified, shocked back into the Mortal Coil by the impact on the canvas!
Basically Holmes was immediately Reserrected by Shaver's power & a Fluke of Nature: kind of like how an actual bolt of lightning almost always is harmful or deadly, but uner rare circumstances, if you are struck juuuust right-you may acquire an unspecified Superpower.

This is also why Holmes has aged so well, with zero visible damage from years of boxing Heavy Hitters well into what is believed to be his 50's.
For all practical purposes he is not 71, but he was in a real sense Reborn in 1979-making him effectively 41 years old.

How else could Larry survive such an unexpected, unprotected Epic Blow from Mr. Shavers.

When everyone that fought him, win or lose, said hit them the hardest-it is undiscerning to merely look at results, since Shavers id not have the endurance, finishing ability, chin, accuracy, combinations...To have the same results of the ATGs.

Im not too sure on the hardest punch but the most brutal punch I've seen was either that leaping left hook Tua tagged Ruiz with or the devastating KO punch that Hearns tagged Duran with.
