Average 130 lbs division boxer might be 140 lbs and even 143 lbs, maybe even more in the ring in fight night.
Not alone 135 lbs division boxers.

Lopez is just next hypejob and a weight bully in 135 lbs, I think when he will move up to 140 and 147 lbs he might be evalued like Loma today is.
To weight in for fight vs the likes Crawford etc he still will need cut a bit, in no case he is walking aroung at 147 lbs or 149 lbs.
Nope, looks like as bare minimum 150-154 lber.

I actually think pro boxing should change their rules.
0 clauses allowed regards to catchweights and preferably both fighters should have at least 2 months notice before fight.
And to install scales operated by gov officials in the hall.
And do weight ins before fight will be started. Not earlier than 30 minutes before fight.
We might see a lot of real sport.

    and again...
like wizbit said, you have no self-awareness.
apply this comment to your endless defence of canelo in the first golovkin fight.
just remove 'loma' and insert 'canelo'...and it's you.

If you're suggesting that Loma vs Lopez was as close as Canelo GGG 1, then you clearly don't have any self-awareness. Lopez's win over Loma was far more one-sided than GGG's draw against Canelo. There's no comparison between the two, and trying to equate the two matches is mental.

P4P = The best boxer in the world if all boxers were the same size.

It's not a stretch to say Loma ia p4p number 1.

You have Canelo as number 1 who has 2 resounding defeats to Golovkin, far more resounding than Lopez defeating Loma

I love the way Inoue goes to the body, but I don't know enough about the lower weight classes to know how quality the opposition is. He certainly LOOKS p4p top or among the top body punchers today.

Spence is a tremendous body puncher. He doesn't even try to sneak them in there a lot of times, he's just twisting his body like he's punching through a wall. Great power and speed on the shots and he commits to it all fight, every fight.

Loma may be the most intelligent body puncher. That left shovel hook mid combo that catches people off guard is devastating.

Canelo mixes in the left hook to the body to good effect, but I don't think he's above any of the three I've mentioned.

LOL that's a good one, I didn't you know you were a comedian. Of course Canelo has a draw and a win over GGG, trying to spin a draw and a win over GGG who was rated much higher than Lopez was before he fought Lomachenko into two resounding defeats is quite a spin job. Lopez Loma was also more recent than the GGG fights, and P4P ranking are more about recent performances than performances years ago.

that's not at all what i was implying, but i think you already know that.
i'm saying that your comment (directed at another poster) that said "you're suggesting it wasn't a loss, that loma really won?", exactly mirrors your defence of canelo in the first golovkin fight.
you're judging others in one thread for exactly what you do in another (again).

Not a single poll on this site means anything when it comes to Canelo.

Not at all funny guy, I never suggested that Canelo GGG 1 wasn't a draw. I never put quotes around the "draw" and argued that the draw was an unfair or unreasonable verdict, as Smithy did for Loma's "loss" to Lopez.

Doing ring push ups is no joke. I could only knock them out when I’d been actually using the rings. To be doing a one armed one is an absolute outstanding feat of balance.
