Jimmy Young doesn’t belong on the list all the time. He did stand toe to toe with Foreman in spots and came out on top.
Pauline Malinaggi was the King of the Spoilers. It’s quite incredible what he achieved. He had a bit of a jab and a decent chin but could move. Constant clinches, 90% of his offense was with his non injured right hand. Very few if ever hurtful or damaging punches. Credit to him because I can’t imagine going into a fight with all those disadvantages and being confident of success.
Maybe when he was past 40. But prime Mamby had a granite chin and wasnt afraid to get hit. He just didnt get hit that much because of great defense and overall slickness.
