Parker will probably be more tactical this time and stay behind the jab. Chisora seems to go off the boil in rematches and loses focus. I expect Parker to win by decision here more conclusively.
Hmmm, I think this may actually be the right decision for Parker. Chisora was robbed in the last match. Parker looked **** poor. Chisora will get the rematch he deserves, and Parker will get another warm up match before fighting Joyce in anything serious. Parker has a new trainer, and maybe he didn't have enough time to gel with him last match. I personally would happy if Chisora got his win, but also be happy if Parker shows up much better and destroys Chisora, and proves he's still a threat in this division. The only outcome I'd hate? - Chisora being on the end of another shitty SD.
So, Parker won't be fighting Hrgovic in an IBF eliminator to become a mandatory for the winner of Joshua-Usyk. (Hrgovic is currently #4 and Parker #5.) Instead, Parker is going to face the unrated Chisora (who has nearly a dozen losses) for a second time? I know Chisora is a favorite in the UK. But EVERYONE (including Joseph Parker) has beaten Dereck Chisora. What a completely POINTLESS exercise. Isn't fighting for titles and winning titles 'supposed' to be the whole point? There's an old saying "**** or get off the pot." To Joseph Parker, **** or get off the pot. Fight Hrgovic for the IBF mandatory or ask to be removed from the IBF ratings. You're just taking up space.
Honestly, as much as I enjoy Del Boy when he's motivated, I hope Parker wins convincingly so Del can stop kidding himself that there's no other reason for him losing most of these fights apart from the fact that he's not quite good enough. I would have liked to see Parker vs Joe Joyce
Parker doesnt care about the belts anymore, he just wants easy fights for big money. A shame because if he had pride he could have been undisputed by now.
I personally wasn't that bothered about a rematch even though the first fight was enjoyable. I personally had Parker nicking it by a couple of rounds against a fading Chisora but can see how some scored it for Del Boy. I do have some interest in this though as a fan of both and I am interested to see if there's been any improvement with the new trainer in regards to Parker. A decisive win for Parker in a rematch could kick start his career again, but a loss or even another close fight will probably see him relegated to a fighter who's already peaked and won't ever do anything else meaningful.
Parker needs to find his spark Just retire otherwise Parker/Chisora should be fighting future GOAT Hughie Fury.
