    Hint - it's a self-explanatory acronym. PED's enhance performance.

Can you be more specific? Why would it enhance stamina, there`s no proof, sprinters taske steroids because it aids recovery so they can put on muscle quick by getting more reps in are you stupid?

I used Winstrol for the same purposes boxers do and it had good effects.
I have taken testosterone and several other compounds throughout the years and never once had issues with testicles or "manboobs" or any other side effect.

Then you are lucky, & maybe did things in enough moderation that you avoided ill-effects.
Although it is unknown if you or others will suffer serious health consequences later.
Simple cigarettes-some never die from them, many do, & often it compromises quality of life even if something else kills them.
All illegal drugs, alcohol, suicides, homicides, accidents, fire-al preventable causes of death put together, save obesity-do not kill as many people.

There is an old desiccated man who has a lifetime free honorary membership at what is claimed to be the oldest continuously operating gym in the nation, Mid-City. All the big lifters like Arnold used to come when in Manhattan.
He describes all these huge lifters, many of which i saw in thick photo books in there, where I was a member for years.
22" arms dudes, recreational & competitive lifters.
All dead, most sometime before they got old.

    That is no coincidence.

Well it isnt difficult to do the homework and I did indeed moderate cycles and use always due to me never being a professional... Some people go nuts with it but you can get desired results with moderate and intelligent use.

Steroids and PEDs aren't the same thing. Steroids are one of many PEDs. PED is an umbrella term encompassing a range of substances, including those that increase stamina.

    I can't tell if you're a dumbass or a troll.

Edit: I have a masters in biochemistry, so I think I'm at least slightly more informed than average on the mechanics of this topic.

Looks like AJ is taking Usyk far far far more seriously than his fans who said BIG AJ was just too big, too strong and would walk through Usyk.

Look to me like he wants more speed, move movement and less weight to carry around, which suggests he expect a very hard nights work.

Mark I know you as someone who starts endless threads, & have been good-natured when some critique how often you do or assume you are a troll.
But now you insult someone asking if they are stupid just because they disagree.

FYI, steroids may give more energy for working out-which amounts to a kind of stamina-even though do not provide extra cardio capacity like EPO & some other substances. Some take androgens to be stronger without gaining much or any muscle, there are endless permutations & "stacks" or combinations.

But you already have had mucho controversy; you should not be calling names.

He wants to get smaller, so he doesnt gas out vs Usyk. But Usyk will benefit from a smaller Joshua.

The hate for AJ is funny.

Dude is doing the right thing here (as usual) and shedding his unneeded size, to be more fighting fit, and all he gets is mocked for one thing or another, accused of being scared or accused of peds.

Amazed how many people have turned on AJ. Guarantee in 15 years time you'll all be telling the new boxing fans how great AJ was and how he was much better than the modern HW.

The current heavyweight scene is not especially poor. It has no real US good fighter's and is completely dominated by UK fighter's. With US being a major market this is a common misconception on this general forum.

I can guarantee, if Fury, AJ, Joyce and Whyte were all American we would be hearing how amazing this current hw division is

lol no this era is poor. You got guys past their prime like Povetkin, Takam and Chisora causing mayham in the top 10. Chisora and Takam were nothing more than gatekeepers in their prime, let alone them currently being past their prime doing stuff like arguably beating Parker and giving Joyce all sorts of problems. Joshua and Fury are elite but besides them his era is full of mediocres.

If Lewis, Holmes, Tyson, and Vitali, were in this era they'd clean house EASILY with Fury being the only genuine threat. I wouldn't even consider Joshua as a threat against those guys. Especially someone as bad of a stylistical match up for Joshua as Mike Tyson. He would not stand a chance.

Imagine if Anthony Joshua encountered Riddick Bowe. Man looked scared to exchange with Pulev and clinched almost every time he got close. Bowe would give Joshua nightmares and Holyfield would just tear his ass up with counters and combinations. Fury would also have a difficult night against Bowe and Lennox Lewis would just end Fury's career

Depends how the next few fights go.

If he beats Fury and Usyk I'll accept he's a great heavyweight and the best of his era. My gut feeling is he won't though, I have my doubts he'll get past Usyk.

Right now he looks like the second best heavyweight of an okish era.
