AJ is definitely underrated by hardcore boxing fans and overrated by casual fans. AJ gets a lots of hate by hardcore fans because of his media persona and his constant vicarious excuses. Everyone had a theory why AJ lost which was spun by his pr team yet he stayed “humble” and took accountability for his loss. This was a perfectly executed PR piece, they probably prepared for this years before he actually lost His team and everyone around him blamed Fury for their fight not happening when they all knew that it wasn’t a foregone conclusion that the Wilder arbitration was done. Again perfectly executed by his PR team to gain back the fans he probably lost to Fury after Fury night nighted Wilder….. His PR team is the best in the business While AJ remains humble and relatable to the world threw his perfect PR a lot of the hardcore fans and others see through it. This is why he gets so much stick Still I think he beats Fury but losses to Wilder.
I can't hate boxer. However to me is hard to sell resume with geriatric opponents just cos surnames on this. I had boxed and I do know that my 25 y.o version had every thing here to deliver my 39 y.o version in intensive care unit, this at first. NO ONE will sell me any one with just only surnames on resumes. Never and they never will do this with any one who had did this stuff with their body and flesh. I had did this in am and pro kickboxing ( a bit ) and in am boxing.
1. Tyson Fury UD V. Klitschko 2. Tyson Fury TKO7 D. Wilder 3. Fat Tyson Fury UD D. Wilder (robbery) 4. Andy Ruiz NOMAS7 A. Joshua 5. Anthony Joshua TKO11 V. Klitschko These are the best 5 wins in the division among active fighters. Andy Ruiz' best win is better than any of Joshua's wins. Let that sink in.
Ha ha ha. Fury had priority in other things than to have 1 single title defense in his life. Cool seller for media for sure. LOL. Fury likes me more than A.J but let's not pretend that boxing world needs Fury more than Fury needs this world. Fury is annoying and very boring, not better here than Wilder.
pretty much. aj is a good solid hw, not an atg but the best in the world right now. he got caught by a hard shot by ruiz, in a very delicate spot, and it took his equilibrium. he was not mentally out of it, but his body betrayed him. ruiz is in transition right now, hes trying to reinvent himself under a new team. trying new things and arreola fighting the best fight ive seen him fight in a decade is why he looked a bit out of sorts. he should show improvement in his next fight.
He's not overrated against the current crop. Historically (which has thank God now quieted down), for a while he was severely overrated.
I rate AJ extremely highly He is a top 2/3 Heavyweight but he's still a bum city dosser big stiff idiot
