I used to actually like Browne. The whole drugs thing didn't affect my perception of him because all top level athletes are on the sauce. Browne's pockets obviously weren't deep enough to pay for a decent "sports doctor" or for a manager who would pass the envelope under the table. But he has become an utterly shameless money-grabber, totally conning his fans and the public. He's as dodgy as they come. That Dave Allen "body shot" was a joke. He's also as dodgy as they come. He's a shadow of his former self, who was always ready to give it a good go. Rubbish. And the Babic bout is a predictable farce. I can already hear that bellend Adam Smith screaming into the mic.

Absolute bloody farce that. Did you see Browne's dive against that Aussie rugby player ?? Seriously though it's one thing bringing over a shot fighter who is a name to pad out a fighters resume that's been happening in boxing for decades but it's another bringing over a fella who took a dive and selling it to gullible fans as though Browne is in there to win rather than the reality that he'll looking for way out as soon as possible, collect his loot and run. Actually agree. For someone thats been criticised for years...in recent years since hes been training properly everyone hes foughts has had a tough night with him. Usyk the guy tipped to beat joshua had a hard night against him. For a guy thats had as many hard fights as chisora...its saying something. Took on all comers as well...sometimes twice. Forums full of people telling boxers to take hard fights...and when they do...its look how many losses they,ve had then. Boxing would be better if there was more chisoras about...willing to take on anyone. Kind of glad hes been financially rewarded more than he probably should have been for it tbh.
I think people are just tired of the ‘I’ve trained harder than ever, I’m bringing war’ crap and doing stuff like flipping tables, saying he’s refusing to fight unless he walks second or the stuff with Prograis & Taylor when he was demanding to be main event over a unification fight. He just comes across a self entitled big baby who thinks the boxing world is against him. He’s lost 11/12 fights, he’s very very lucky to still be getting the opportunities he does.
It's just an insult to boxing fans but then again is it really aimed at us or is it just at those who casually follow it? I'm just fed up with it all. We rarely get to see the fights we want to see. We just get spoon fed panto like beefs and hyped up limited fighters like Babic, Hatton and Co. Every new year on here there's a thread to discuss fights we'd love to see and I'm amazed if even one of them gets made.
Lucas Browne shouldn’t be near a televised boxing event again how can they allow him to steal a living and bring the sport into further disrepute?
