Without reading any other replies yet.

    "Ya don't say?!"

I mean seriously, nobody sane was really expecting a trainer who has zero track record of training and a poor record as a fighter to instill tactical genuis into a one-dimensional fighter whose entire persona and self belief relies on one punch?

This is not news, it's just Wilder admitting what we all already knew - he's learned nothing and will perform no better than #2.

Confirms what I've suspected about this pointless third fight. Wilder is just cashing out, he knows he can't beat Fury. The press conference before the change of date was a dead giveaway.

It's like the immovable object and the unstoppable force...

Except it's the immovable object of Wilder's ego against the completely hollow force of a trainer with all the relevant experience and intelligence of Mr Blobby.

Wilder is a delusional egomaniac, at one time he said he wanted to be a movie star, he said he would have liked to have played a gunslinger in a western.

He strangled a hooker in Vegas and assaulted a special needs person.

He should have strangled Charlie Zernoff, but he wasn`t much of a hooker.

He strangled a person he thought was stealing. Just so happened to be a female hooked. Can't find anything on the special needs person. You have a link?

I don't think he could teach him anything new, Breland couldn't after years of training, Wilder is very basic technically.

All Scott has to do is get him mentally right, we all know what Wilder needs to do and that's land his right hand, that's all and after the slap he got last time out it's going to be all about his attitude, confidence and mental strength.

Deontay Wilder won every major title he's held, amateur and pro, via decision.

He won three decisions en route to winning the National Golden Gloves via decision. He won the US Amateur Champioships via decision. He won the U.S. Olympic Trials and quaified for the Olympics by winning five decisions. He won all his fights via decision in the 2008 Olympics and earned the Bronze Medal. And he won the World Boxing Council Heavyweight Title with a 12-round unanimous decision over Bermane Stiverne after Wilder broke his hand flooring Stiverne early in the fight.

While champ, Wilder's trainers and Wilder himself got lazy and just began to rely on his KO power. By his last successful defense against Luis Ortiz, he wasn't even trying to win rounds. Just looked for a one-punch KO the whole fight - until he got it.

Malik Scott has known Wilder forever. Scott saw Wilder's skills detoriorate over his title reign while everyone on his training team basically just showed up to collect a check.

All Malik Scott has done is remind Wilder that he was a very good boxer in his own right and to get him back to working on his fundamentals.

That's it. Wilder knows how to box. EVERYTHING he's ever won came when he boxed his way to a decision.

Some of you guys act like tween girls you get so "outraged" by anything Wilder says.

Scott has been great for Wilder.

I expect the best Wilder to show up for the third Fury fight. I don't know if the best Fury is going to show up. We'll see.

I don't think anyone has ever taught Deontay Wilder anything, about boxing or anything else. The guy is just dumb.
