Please keep it respectful, don't just say my list is laughable out of nowhere without putting up a good argument. I'm open debate and would to know your thoughts about this. One more thing, would be intersting to see your list too. Without further a do, here's my list: 1. Bob Fitzsimmons 2. Julian Jackson 3. Sam Langford 4. Earnie Shavers 5. Bob Satterfield 6. Thomas Hearns 7. Jack Dempsey 8. Sandy Saddler 9. Wilfredo Gomez 10 Bob Foster Honorable Mentions: Pipino Cuevas, Rocky Marciano, Edwin Rosario, Cleveland Williams, Gerald McClellan, Jimmy Wilde, Khaosai Galaxy, Carlos Zarate, Felix Trinidad, George Foreman, Prince Naseem Hamed, Gervonta Davis, Just to make more interesting, compare your list with the ring's list. Here: 1. Jimmy Wilde 2. Max Baer 3. Bob Fitzsimmons 4. George Chaney 5. Charles LeDoux 6. Bob Satterfield 7. Earnie Shavers 8. Joe Louis 9. Jack Dempsey 10. Sandy Saddler
A lot of the right names, but in the p4p punchers list I tend to leave off career heavyweights, but that’s just me. I’m not sure Gomez was a bigger puncher than Little Red or Arguello. Sure, better KO% but it was often an accumulation. Glad to see you put Rosario in there. Eugene Hart might very well deserve a placing. He’s a huge puncher. Gerald McLellan of modern times would possibly deserve a placing in the honorables at least, Ruben Olivares too perhaps? It’s hard to say really.
That's a pretty good list. For me, it's always tough to rate guys strictly on pure power. Take your number eight on your list (Joe Louis) for example. I'm sure that there are lot of guys throughout heavyweight history that hit harder than him. What made him so deadly was his impeccable timing and technique more so than his raw power.
I have the ring mag special with the top 100 greatest punchers ever and that wasnt their list. Here are their top 10: 1 Joe Louis 2 Sam Labgford 3 Jimmy Wilde 4 Archie Moore 5 Sandy Saddler 6 Stanley Ketchel 7 Jack Dempsey 8 Bob Fitzsimmons 9 George Foreman 10 Earnie Shavers And no Merqui Sosa doesnt make the top 100 in case youre wondering.

Im sorry, but how in the world you include someone like Gervonta Davis, who is scoring KOs vs nobody, and not even mention Alexis Arguello who is a much harder P4P puncher in the same weight classes that Davis competes. Other than that i agree with most of the list Ill add Alfonso Zamora, Sung Kil Moon, Eduardo Lausse and from more recent times only Naoya Inoue and maybe Wilder qualify for me
Then why is Gerald McClellan often in the p4p hardest Punchers status? Many people think that G-Man hits the hardest despite knocking out bums. The only thing that he knock out is a faded John Mugabi and Julian Jackson which by TKO even though he hit him with 2 clean hard shots. He can't even kayo Nigel Benn with a huge amount of amount punches despite moving up only a little in weight bit I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt becuz that's the first time he fought in that weight class. I'm a big fan of McClellan but he is nowhere near number one hardest puncher p4p
Gomez' skill (combination punching) played a huge role. Little Red could crack. He wasn't as precise/accurate as Gomez and Arguello. Ruben should definitely be on the list.
