End of an era, his absence from the sport will be felt and I don't see anyone having the same impact as him on the sport for years to come .

    Unless Inoue beats Canelo :D.

We'll never see anyone like him again, he was one that we were all lucky to see!

Happy retirement champ! One of the greatest even if his resume is riddled with asterisks. Nonetheless, a true all time great!!

On a side note, crazy how those pics show how his head got bigger through the years.

The right decision. Wish he had done this after Thurman.

Boxing is not about having a perfect record

    Boxing is about overcoming adversity

& overcoming adversity is what Paqquiao did.

From the streets of Pyongyang to the president of the Phillipines.

Pacquiao is the GOAT, just for today atleast.

    Enjoy your retirement champ!

I never totally got this sentiment until I saw Federer and Nadal get old and their appearances in tournaments being less and less frequent, it was amplified by the supposed "next-gen" underperforming.

It was then and there I understood that I was lucky to witness these greats in my time.

That's not how you complement a great on his final lap, the gravy you've served is full of pebbles.

A true great in a time when that word is thrown around too lightly. Incredible career.
