Now I liked to watch MM at light heavy. He was a beast and played the bad boy part.
What's his chances against Foster tho. He has a punchers chance.. Is it enough tho?

Bob Foster had without question the greater career at 175. For whatever reason, Moorer never got the opportunity to prove himself against the best of his era at175 (Hill and Maske) and is probably not in the hall of fame because of it. With that said, he still had an impressive career at heavyweight and would be dangerous for anyone at 175.

Bottom line, both men had the power to destroy the other and that is how I think it would go. Foster had the better career at that weight but Moorer certainly could beat him

Hmmm Moorer has the southpaw and speed advantage. Bob was very susceptible to right hands and left hooks due to his stance. Foster's feints, jab, and power should outmatch MM strengths. I have a hard time rating MM. Virgil Hill beat a common opponent(s) much easier. I don't believe in triangle theories, of course. An "exciting" fight from Moorer would do more harm than good.

Yeah, Moorer has a chance, Foster was so much more experienced at 175 though, you do wonder.

Of course MM has a chance. Foster was great but not so great that a badass like Moorer couldn't pose a significant threat to him.

    I’d pick Moorer to win.

Moorer has a punchers chance for sure. I'd favor Foster.

Most would probably say Foster, he's the more proven as champ I think, but MM was a beast.
He could blast Foster. Think I'm in your camp on this.

what was it about his stance that made him susceptible to right hands and left hooks? Be specific. Why do you think that a world class fighter would fight 60 or more pro fights in such a silly style?

Foster was a tall but thin light heavy. Michael Moorer was a 200 pound light heavy. How did Bob Foster do against heavyweights?

I doubt the MM who fought at light heavy for such a short time would have the experience to beat Bob Foster. That's asking a lot for the few fights he had at that weight

Foster did not fair well against anyone around the 200 lbs mark. Even his record at LH isn't that good.
How many southpaws did Foster ever fight? Moorer beats ever fighter Foster ever beat.

    Moorer takes this.

    I wouldn’t favor Moorer at 175 over Foster but yes…. He’d have a puncher’s chance.

Exactly, they were never the same size. Foster weighed in at times below 175 with a same day weigh in, Moorer made 175 for a few minutes 30-48 hours before a fight.
