I am not sure how this happened, but Mayweather might have something to do with it. This is why I never like weight agreements, since I think Leonard and Lalonde and bending that rule then led to Mayweather and now this. Some people will say that is a stretch.

When I was in college, I worked with a super cool Mexican guy who was married to a much younger woman. One day her father came in to work to visit. The old guy was short and wiry and looked to be in good physical shape. He seemed a little slow minded and slurred a bit but I thought it was his sketchy English. My friend, Manny, said to make sure no one rings a bell or drops a pan, or anything that sounds like a bell. He said the old guy was a former pro boxer in Mexico and that he starts punching whenever the hears a bell. My friend said he witnessed the old guy punch several people out over the years because of this reaction. I didn’t want to risk it but this reminds me of Bowe. He’s shot but when he hears a bell, he probably starts punching whoever is closest to him. Serious note, don’t support these fights. There are too many senior boxers willing to get their brains scrambled more than they already are and the only way to stop them is to not pay to see it. Give them some money for an autograph or a picture. Support their charities or look them up and pay them to meet for lunch. Old guys getting punched is dangerous. Old boxers who already have brain damage getting punched in the head is inhuman. I want to see youtubers get knocked out but only against recently retired boxers not super old retired ones. It’s so sad to see former greats reduced to this.
