If you shove a fighter as violently as that don't be surprised if their response is to start throwing some heat at you. That wasn't no shove for the cameras that was assault. An MMA fighter suffered a bad neck injury recently after being shoved forcefully and the fight had to be called off. I'm not advocating for fighters to start punching seven shades of Clenelo out of each other but if you shove a fighter, especially a poor boy from the streets like Plant who has that street pride, you got to expect a free serving of knuckle pie coming your way. If Clenelo tried to pull a stunt like that against any of my boys from my hood WWIII would've kicked off and things would've got biblical for him real quick.
I'm not for pushing at the press conferences, but trash talking and pushing at are standard practice at most press conferences at this point. Plant's sucker punch was uncalled for and the 1,2 he got after was well deserved. I'm actually pretty surprised to see Forza, Olu, and Serge in agreement here, haha.

I'm seeing a lot of people on social media who are self-confessed hard core Clenelo fans calling for him to be banished from the sport now. Apparently in Mexico it's a big no no for a man to slap another man's face. It's considered a real female dog move for a man to do that to another man. They have an old saying over there ''Dios le dio al hombre manos para trabajar, amar y golpear, no abofetear como una mujer'' Which I believe roughly translates to god gave man hands to work with, love with and to punch with, not slap like a woman
