I belive Marciano would beat prime Liston, because when Rocky fought JJW, he too had accidental, strange substance in his eyes. But Rocky overcame Walcott and the ref didn't dq Jersey either, so I pick Rocky to over come Liston AND strange, stinging substance in eyes!!!
A little known fact is, in Ali V Liston 2,Jersey Joe had a strange pot of substance in his pocket, ready to smear on Liston s gloves.. Just in case... But Sonny decided to go with a Dodgy looking fall in the first round instead. This totally knackered up Joe's plans with the substance, so he ended up panicking and cocking the whole bloody thing up!
