McClellan pitting his power against one of the most devastating middleweight s for years.

GGG s strength will be tested here against the hard punching aggression of the GMan.
    Brief and Brutal??

The fight takes place at Ceasars Palace.
    Richard Steele ref.
    3KD Rule in effect.

G-man was too easy to catch with big shots v Jackson and Benn despite beating Jackson, GGG had better head movement which is why hwe would have probably beaten G-man.

GGG was at the top a long time. He was the more disciplined I'd say in there.
I think that McClellan s going to hit Golovkin tho likes he's never been hit before.

Another vote for Golovkin. He's simply the more disciplined fighter and the more organised fighter.

GGG crushes GMAN. The overall skill level of GGG is far superior to the powerful yet limited GMAN.

I agree that G-man fell a little too in love with his power. But, he was hardly "limited" in his skillset. If I am not mistaken, Manny Steward said that Gerald was the most talented fighter he ever worked with.

Would need to rewatch Benn - McClellan again and then a few of GGG's greatest hits to make a clear prediction on this 50/50 matchup but before that can safely say Golovkin lacks the speed and ferocity of Benn to take the early rounds but if he can take the power and close the distance I can see GGG gradually landing enough shots for perhaps a late stoppage or close decision.

Either way this is not an easy fight for G-man or Golovkin

You are probably right that limited was a bit of a stretch. He simply wasn't anywhere near the complete fighter that GGG is but calling him limited was inaccurate of me.

I get where your coming from. I belive his power took over and perhaps he entered that, Ruddock /Foreman stage, where they belive they can just go out and Ko anyone.
After all, he'd smashed Julian Jackson, one of the hardest hitting middles for years. He must have felt invincible.
Not sure GGG went through that, maybe wrong, but he did well to be champ so many years.
