Nope. Not even any hesitation in considering it.

I like Bowe more, but nobody has any justifcation for rating Bowe above the likes of Lewis. We all know that.

I believe Bowe would work him in close where Lewis didn't like it and take advantage of his suspect chin. Evander may have survived but Lewis wouldn't.

I think Bowe vs Lewis in their respective primes would have been competitive, but in terms of resume and longevity, it's a landslide.

I point to the obvious-his chin. He was flattened twice by less than stellar comp. Crowd him like Mercer or Klit, and he has problems. Bowe was the master of trench warfare and with the size to match Lewis' and superior stamina.

Now how do his chances look?

I've already said, if the two were to fight in their respective primes than it would be competitive.

In terms of accomplishments, Lewis wins it by a landslide.

I hate it when people assume that Riddick Bowe was afraid of Lennox Lewis.

At the time of proposed fight, Riddick Bowe THE MAN at HW. Yes Lennox Lewis beat him in the amatuers but Bowe was a complete fighter who had just beaten Evander Holyfield.

Tyrell Biggs beat Lennox Lewis in the Olympics.
Henry Tillman beat Mike Tyson in the amateurs.

    The results don't always translate;

Politics kept them from fighting, not fear.

A side Note a proposed fight which would have been a done deal was to take place between Lewis and Bowe but Lewis got KO'd by Oliver McCall and in the process ruining the fight.

Anyways to answer the thread, No. I rate Lewis higher than Bowe in achievements and H2H.

    BTW 1995-onwards its all Lewis

    My thoughts exactly.

    Also...

The amateur situation between the two is over-stated.

Jogre Luis Gonzalez beat both in the amateurs... Lennox AND Riddick.

In the pros Riddick gave Gonzalez the beating to end all beatings.

Yes but Gonzalez didn't exactly convert to the pro's like Lewis did. One can't fight a lick in the pro's and the other is a top 10 ATG Heavyweight - big diff right there. Another point is that Lewis stopped Bowe, Gonzalez only outpointed him. Add to this the Lewis win over Bowe was on the absolute pinnacle of amateur stages.

The Olympic win isn't the be all and end all, but it is certainly worth noting. Remember - Bowe threw his title belt in the bin rather than face Lewis.
