AJ will want a big ring, maybe the same size as Ruiz II. Usyk has the technical ability and footwork to work in small spaces, he can slip and counter, I believe AJ will want to create space with his jab and look for the long straight right hand against the southpaw. He won't want Usyk up close and personal, AJ will want to use his reach and try and frustrate Usyk, rack up points, try and break Usyk down with a jab and just make it difficult for Usyk to connect. The smaller the ring the closer Usyk will be.
Like this. Smaller ring in fight vs Usyk might be suitable for boxers like Whyte, Chisora, Ruiz Jr. Boxers like A.J and Parker maybe might prefer normal or large ring to fight vs Usyk. A.J moves pretty well and does have reach advantage vs Usyk so I can't see how large ring might be problem for A.J.
