I've been going alright on the punt lately so I chucked another $50 on Usyk by KO at $8.50 I am pumped for this fight LOL
Yeah mate. To much money involved for him to win on points. He will have to absolutely spank Joshua in at least 9 of the rounds to get a draw.
It really is an interesting match up, a lot of experts are picking Usyk for the win even though he is an under dog with all the bookies. The general consensus is Usyk will get jobbed on the cards is the fight is at all close. No result would surprise me though either guy winning on points or by KO. Can't wait for Sunday morning what time do you guys reckon the main event will be on?
I'll need to check times. The last time I watched DAZN there was lots of buffering so hopefully the stream is good for this one.
Opetaia will have an opponent announced shortly. Look for him and Breidis to then meet in late January or so.
Party boy has no reason not to bet big on this fight, considering he weaseled his way out of a $1000 bet.
Might be cool. I suspect that Briedis might be happy if Opetaia is able to generate enough money for his purse. I think this is good that Opetaia had not this fight in so short term: Briedis really is old and seriously ring rusty but still very experienced, should be also still very good gas tank ( Briedis is one from fighters who might had benefited a lot if instead of 12 rounders there had been 15 rounds fights, gas tank is very good ). For Briedis he needs at least 2 months notice before fight.
I noticed on the undercard to Joshua-Uysk was Ricky Hatton's kid fighting. How good is the kid ? Anyone see him fighting before ? If he is anything like his old man then all he will do is foul and wrestle and talk like a drunk casual fan in the post fight interview.
