Usyk. He actually brings things to the sport: shows that skill, training, discipline, and intelligence wins over natural size and power. He's someone to study and learn from now and into the future. Conversely, I have no idea why people are so keen to root for a guy, AJ, that does absolutely nothing special and wins purely on genetic and pharmaceutical advantage, whilst having zero personality (at best).
AJ because AJ vs Fury or maybe Wilder is a bigger, and imo better, fight than Usyk vs Fury/Wilder. I would like to see Usyk do well though and last distance.
AJ because if Usyk wins Fury will be forced to fight some chump bob arum can dig out of the closet whilst AJ loses his rematch.
I don't have a horse in this. So long as it's a good fight and a deserving winner is announced. I'm good.
Should have included a nationality question. I'd be interested to know how many Brits will be cheering for AJ or Usyk
Usyk. Don't really like AJ and as much as AJ-Fury would be massive, it'd be massive either way and both seem to want it (unlike AJ-Wilder, that will never happen, quack quack quack).
I don't particularly have anything against Joshua, but after following Usyk's run in the WBSS, I really like the cut of his jib, and would like to see him upset the odds (and Fast Eddie). I'm not a fan of the whole A-side stacked deck way boxing is, and Usyk arguably personifies everything against that. Plus he is the underdog, and I would always tend to root for the underdog given nothing else to separate the fighters.
