Usyk just weighed in at 221 lbs, standing 6'3.. 'BIG' George Foreman weighed in at 217 lbs in his crushing victory vs Joe Frazier, 220 lbs vs Muhammad Ali and 224 lbs for the Frazier rematch back in his 'prime', standing at 6'3.

If Usyk is really undersized, then all heavyweight boxing all time head to head rankings need to revised and only fighters in the super heavyweight era should be considered as top 5.

Usyk is a pretty old looking 34 year old to be honest, lots of niggling injuries.

His Torso looks big and bloated at 220.

He is definitely a cruiser and past prime

Young Foreman was a natty lean 220 pounds in his 20's in the 70's. All proportioned.

    Can't compare.

You make a good point but George punched harder than Usyk.

    No. He's not. He's a legitimate 6'3'' and is lean at 220lbs.

Andy Rice Pudding Jr was a fat blob and he is several inches shorter in reality. Usyk is a considerably bigger man than Rice Pudding Jr, who battered Joshua.

Part of the allure of heavyweight boxing is the more pronounced difference in height, arm length and body mass.

The heavyweight division is the most prestigious division in boxing.

Foreman was much, much slower and technically inferior. Foreman lost to several boxers that he hit harder than. In fact, pretty much all of the men who beat him didn't hit as hard as him, but they of course had other attributes in their favour.

Usyk body is more defined than Foreman`s was because he`s been lifting weights to put on the muscle while Foreman`s walking around size was the same as his fighting size in the ring.

He doesn't have Foreman's special uppercut.
Usyk's torso never had defined musculature.

If being honest, this is already the case... Which makes a strong argument for Lewis being H2H #1 even if others may deserve the GOAT tag more.

No but it was proportional to his arms and legs. Looked fresh

It looks bloated now, he looks like an old 34 year old.

Chisora was not joking when he said Usyk is old overnight after fighting him, he truly looks it.

Prime Usyk was at 30 and younger, he's very ring worn at 34. Not a natural heavy. Just like Khan, Brook and many more. At 34 they can't make their prime weight and were on their way out...well on their way out.

Prime Tyson would have smashed any super heavyweight, weight isn`t everything it`s just one factor in a fight.

George Foreman beat Joe Frazier nearly 50 years ago. The "Galveston Giant" Jack Johnson was six foot tall and weighed 194 pounds when he made World Champion Tommy Burns look like a dwarf.

For 2023, yes, Usyk is on the small side. And he's middle-aged. And he looks like a skinny guy who drank a lot of beer. And if he thought he was a top heavyweight, he wouldn't have fought at cruiserweight and then waited until the end of his career to move up.

He didn't really even push for this fight. He got handed a #1 rating by the WBO the minute he moved up. He looked ordinary fighting two unrated guys. When Joshua and Fury looked like they were going to fight, he said he'd step aside.

He acts like all those fighters who smile and wave and make faces before fights where they are a big underdog, and then they go out, put their gloves over their face, and go down in a round or two.

After he gets knocked out Saturday, he will likely retire.

If we get more than that, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Usyk is bigger than Foreman. Modern heavyweights are bigger though, and in a couple decades, bridgerweight will be necessary for guys Foreman’s size.

You don't know what you're looking at, I'm afraid. I don't mean to patronise you, but the guy has a solid core to the eye. He has a thick looking waist which is representative of strength and not just low body fat. Look at his obliques. You don't have thick obliques like that without having a strong core.

I think it points towards Wlad since he held the belts for over a decade in the SHW era. But if eras do get progressively better, H2H rankings for all time are dumb anyway.

You should try to be less obnoxious.

I did not say anything about Usyk's core strength. miniq said that he looks "bloated" at HW when the truth is even at CW Usyk's torso looked similar.
