Exactly, FRAMES are different than SIZE.

    Foreman had a natural 6'3" 220lb frame....Usyk does not.

Usyk has said in the past he'd perfer not to put on weight or else he'd loose a bit of speed and we saw him look a little bloated when he stepped on the scale at 231.

He's a natural 215-220 guy. Foreman was significantly more muscular and a natural 225-230 guy but cut weight.

Also wasn't Usyk going down to 200 and rehydrating to 210-215 as a cruiser ?

Yes, but CWs generally keep their weight down to this level so that they may dehydrate easily.

Yes.. But not cutting muscle or fat to do it. Dehydrating isn't the same as cutting weight. He's still has the same amount of muscle and fat after he dehydrates.

Regardless if Usyk is or isnt as big as foreman, it is always a bit surprising to be reminded how small 'big' george foreman would be today.

Just imagine Marciano standing next to Joshua. He'd look like a muscular little boy.

It’s true (although hard to understand why) that Foreman used to dehydrate a little bit for weigh ins. Nevertheless, the really in shape Foreman was no more than 220-something. The really in shape Usyk is 210-something. Similar sized guys, Foreman just a bit bigger.

Foreman had the combination of a great physique and great power which of course made him seem bigger than he actually was. Big arms and shoulders, thin torso.

Usyk is about 1.5 inches shorter and structurally much smaller (look how narrow his clavicles and back are). People underestimate the effect modern pharmaceuticals have on these athletes ability to bulk up. Foreman was 230lbs as an 18yr old in the amateurs. No drugs or weight training. By comparison Anthony Joshua was a lanky 220lbs during his early 20s in the ams. Wlad turned pro at 220lbs. Lennox Lewis fought as low as 221lbs in the earlier part of his career. If George Foreman turned pro today he’d probably debut at around 240-250lbs.

Usyk is taller than Haye who was a solid 6' 2" (0.5).

If Foreman was so naturally big then why was the obviously fat, 45 year old Foreman still only 245lb.

Fat middle aged Foreman was the same weight as relatively in shape Joseph Parker. Can’t have been that big.

Plus Foreman and Usyk are both relatively legit 6’3” guys by boxing standards, Foreman being noticeably taller is pure nonsense which you would only spout if you were intent on retrospectively making him bigger
