"Campbell was very lucky to win his fight...." no, you know luck has nothing to do with it Eddie. It's called home cooking
Yeah, you know, most TV cards in the States would have a "walk-out bout" (or two) or "swing" bouts for fans to watch if the main event ended early. If the main event didn't end early, then fans who bought tickets would get to watch one or two bouts as people gradually left the arena. I don't know why these PPVs don't have "walk out" or "swing" bouts. Keeps the energy level up when there are long gaps. I went to a ESPN show one night and after the TV cameras turned off, Montell Griffin fought to win his 50th and last pro fight. Crowd was about half the size, but it was a lot of fun. Better than the last fight ESPN televised. Roberto Duran vs Jimmy Batton was actually the "walk out bout" for Pryor-Arguello. That was the fight fans leaving the arena got to watch if they thought the traffic might be too bad outside.
Partially true. There never should be just one judge (the ref). But given that in this instance there was just one, the fight was so one-sided that I can't believe that the ref believed the decision he rendered. This was a crooked decision, plain and simple, and everybody including the ref , Ricky, Campbell and the entire crowd knows that.
