I don't see his "brand" recovering from this. How is it a "featherfist" hurts AJ multiple times but AJ never hurt Usyk once. The misconception that Usyk has no power is over
Agreed. That featherfisted Cruiserweight likely broke Joshua's eye socket. Conversely, Joshua landed a straight right hand in the middle rounds that would have KOed most heavyweights. Uysk walked right through it.
Weird how a 1-0 Usyk was able to stop Epifanio Mendoza legitimately in 4 rounds and drop him twice but a 14-0 Luis Ortiz couldn't even drop him, let alone get him out of there in 4 rounds and could only win on a DQ7 Also weird how Usyk was able to stop Eric Brechlin, cracking him clean and hard so often that his corner felt compelled to throw the towel in, but the absolutely murderous punching 6'6'' 250lb + Makhmudov was taken the distance by same Brechlin and could only beat him on a SD and Brechlin didn't run from him, as was the huge punching 6'6'' 225-240lb behemoth Hrgovic and the equally strapping and powerful AJ who also fought Brechlin. AJ got stunned almost 5-6 times by a former cruiserweight lmaoo. The bell saved his life in the end of round 12.
I don't think he was badly hurt Buzzed a few times The 12th he was just so gassed, which is always his biggest weakness.
The funny thing is, and again I and many others told everyone, Usyk would've toyed with the pre-Fat Andy II AJ even easier - we just saw what he did to a lighter, much more agile and faster version of him for goodness sake and that would've looked like a giant mongoose vs Herman Munster in quicksand.
Two things: People massively overrate the power of AJ People underrate the power of Usyk Add in a huge disparity in boxing skill and you have one "powerful" fighter stunned/hurt 7-8 times and one "featherduster" not hurt at all
I've had to listen to so much crap about Usyk from such arrogant supposed ''experts'' who don't have a clue what they're talking about and I've had listen to it for years so I'm going to enjoy this. Nothing I said here was directed at you though
