Fury would be much harder work for usyk. But then AJ would have a much better chance of beating fury than he does usyk in a rematch. It's all styles make fights. Joe Joyce beats them all anyway.
On thing I'd say Chisora's rep takes a lift tonight. Gave Usyk a harder fight than Joshua. Styles make em.
Exactly. Fury himself said that Cunningham was too fast and slippery for him and actually was his hardest opponent ever, including Wlad and Wilder. So instead of boxing him, he turned it into a proper fight and did what he had to do.
So does Fury fight Whyte next after he mauls Wilder again? Usyk-AJ 2 will be another 6 months or so at least.
No. Fury would have made Joshua look silly all night. Different levels. I knew Usyk had this one and called the result easy. Much harder fight against Fury. I favour Fury, he's levels above Joshua in terms of ability and a much harder night's work for Usyk imo
Could do although Fury is more mobile and trickier than Joshua and longer. I bet Fury is gutted btw. Usyk will be a tougher ask.
Wallin took him to hell and back and little CW Cunningham dropped him flat on his back and in Fury's own words gave him his hardest fight Does this sound familiar? “Believe it or not, this is going to sound strange, Cunningham was the hardest fight I ever did have in my whole career, amateur or professional. “The reason being he was very slippery, I couldn’t pin him down. He was light on his feet, weighing 208lbs, he was a cruiserweight champion and he stepped up into heavyweights. “He was a slick, talented boxer and I tried to walk him down, use my size and power, but he was just outboxing me. “What I’m good at – boxing, moving, slipping and sliding – I couldn’t do against Steve Cunningham because he was quicker than me. “It was like he was a better boxer all round than me, and he’d knocked me over even though he was a light puncher.
Fury is a much different proposition for Usyk to deal with. Firstly Fury's ring IQ is on a par with his own. Fury is even bigger than AJ and has a very good jab, and uses his own feints. On the flipside, would Fury have doubts? Usyk seems to have innate sel-belief, that would make anyone question themselves. I think Usyk would target the body on Fury a LOT and try and tire him out, but Fury uses his size well - he'd lean all over Usyk and I think win a UD. Just a bridge to far - but I'd love Usyk to prove me wrong!
