Would it be fair for Usyk to have a big fight in his home country for once?

If Hearn and Joshua say no, I think Usyk should announce his retirement. Let all three belts splinter.

And then in about eight months, Usyk should challenge the winner of Wilder-Joshua 3 for the World Title. They'd split the purse with him. (They're both like that.)

Joshua's just a contender now. Joshua and Hearn's immediate rematch clauses are weak. Joshua wouldn't have given Usyk a rematch if Joshua had been awarded a gift decision.

Other boxers agree ahead of time to fight twice regardless of who wins.

Let Joshua pick up the scraps. Let Joshua fight someone like Joe Joyce for a vacant strap.

Joshua had his big homecoming show Saturday and crapped the bed yet again.

Kiev, Usyk is calling the shots now.
    AJ doesn't deserve a rematch.

    Kiev of course.

Usyk is the ultimate road warrior. He deserves to have a big homecoming and the building on his side for once.

This is the downside of Usyk winning, UK fights are already on too early.

It should be in Kiev, I'd be surprised if it played out that way though.

There isn't enough money in Kiev to make it worthwhile.

There is something almost admirable in your level of delusion...kind of like how you cheer for Don Quixote tilting windmills, and challenging sleeping lions.

    Don't even wake up.

While I'm dubious that the financials or politics of boxing will make a homecoming possible, if anyone has earned one, it's Usyk.

The guy is an absolute fearless free spirit with HOF caliber skills.

Enjoy this guy while he's around.

Nothing against Britain, but why do all of these fights have to be there.

AJs last big fight overseas he lost to a fat Mexican. He can come back, but Usyk deserves to have the rematch in the Ukraine.

To my best recollection, the Klits never brought a big fight in to honor their home land. I respect Usyk for trying to do that. Maybe it'd be less pressure on AJ too to fight away from home. Make it happen. World champion is supposed to go anywhere, Usyk did. Then he can Fight fury in the Himalayas for GOAT status.
