Typical loser making excuses. AJ was classless in losing. Didn’t thank his fans, didn’t congratulate his opponent. Didn’t even thank Usyk for giving him a boxing lesson, thoroughly out boxing him. Oh, didn’t thank the timekeeper for ringing the. Elk 7 seconds early when he was about to get dropped on his ass.

Salute to Roy Jones Jr. for some of the most idiotic commentary I have ever heard. When Usyk was connecting with solid shots and combos, Roy was too busy talking about the punches Joshua was missing. Musing, if dat punch wouda landed…complete idiot, mush mouth ****. Great win by Usyk. Rematch should be in the Ukraine.

Maybe, but honestly im not sold on the notion yet and even with the Usyk loss i can still see him beating Fury

We saw in the Olympics that Erislandy Savon schooled Joshua and even stunned him once. Savon thoroughly outboxed him and Savon was also close to Usyks size. Savon was moving in and out of of range and Joshua had lots of trouble pinning him down and i reckon it was also due to his small hitbox.

However against 6'9 Ivan Dychko Joshua had a significantly easier time getting on the inside and applying pressure even though Dychko was pretty good on the backfoot.

I've always said Usyk is a nightmare for Joshua and would be a harder fight for Joshua than Tyson Fury because Usyk is quicker, a lot smaller, a better counter puncher, and a better combination puncher. Here's the proof if you need it.
Joshua can't outbox Fury. Absolutely not. If Klitschko couldn't Joshua certainly can't, he couldn't even outbox Usyk. But if he walked Fury down, and went to the body I'd give him a solid chance.

I am a AJ fan but no way does he win the re-match.

Better off letting Fury or Wilder take him on and hopefully beat him.

    Congratulations to Usyk.

AJ needs to find his power shots on Usyk and pin him down

    Only way

Relax early on and when Usyk slows go after him. Facetime Fury he will give you the inspiration.

    Good luck femi

In the realms of absolute possibility anything is "possible" I suppose

How much of a reality is it though?, after his loss to Usyk this evening?, not to mention his loss to Ruiz and how that's affected AJ's boxing style since then.

How likely is it that the current AJ will try and walk down any elite fighter?

DAZN sure is taking their sweet time making the card available to replay. It ended 5 hours ago and still the replay stream isn't available.

Usyk should charge AJ for the boxing clinic he gave him. AJ lost a brawl to Ruiz but tonight was way worse, death by a thousand cuts and there was nothing he could do about it. Absolutely beautiful the way it all unfolded.

Thats why i said if. You are right in that he's totally changed after the Ruiz fight. Unlike Lennox Lewis, Anthony Joshua never mentally recovered from his first KO loss.

Could he change ? Possibly. Sacking Mccracken could help. Don't know if he will though. Joshua's just mentally weak. However I actually noticed Joshua had lots of success going to the body against Usyk, but he went back to boxing because McCracken told him too and he payed for this tactic like he did in the early rounds. His only chance would be to work the body and have him out by round 6 because his stamina is ****. The body is Usyks Achilles hill.

But i still favor Usyk by stoppage.

I had a theory than in crucial moments, AJ's subconscious wouldn't allow him to give 100% because he doesn't want to fight Fury after. If he had serious doubts about beating Fury before they will only be magnified after this. If AJ goes for Usyk in the rematch he gasses out early and Usyk stops him.

He did it lads..gotta admit I got a little emotional when they announced him champion.

Been following boxing for 20 years and rarely do I physically vibrate so much in anticipation for a fight. The nerves were that bad.

I wasn't sure he could do it but he was all class tonight.
